Staff Profile

Greetings parents/guardians/caregivers and scholars, it's going to be a great 2025-26 learning year.

 I have been teaching for the past 30 years (entering my 31st) and I have grown even more. This year I hope we can really team up: teacher, parent/guardian/caregiver, and scholar, to form a bond that will cause us all to improve in every area of our lives, including Algebra 1. I plan to incorporate a more blended style of learning this year. The scholars will be more self-paced and yield more independence and ability to use discourse to enhance their Algebra awareness.

I have done a great deal of research over the past years to decrease the achievement gap and hope I can be a contributor toward eliminating it altogether. I am confident that as we work together, we CAN/WILL make great things happen! I have been blessed and gifted to make the complex, simple, for all who put forth the effort to learn! We have an awesome opportunity to raise our mathematical awareness, EQ(emotional quotient) and IQ(intelligence quotient) this year. I have ridiculous goals this year, which I plan to accomplish!

With your help, we can make huge gains!

It is important that we work together, so that we, not only talk about having potential, but "be about it"!
