Staff Profile

Teng Lo
Mr. Lo holds a B.A. from Macalester College (1992), a Master of Education in Science from the University of Minnesota, and an Educational Specialist in Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
He has extensive experience as a science teacher, having taught physical science, general physics, and AP physics at Como Park Sr. High School from 1998 to 2021. Additionally, he served as an AP coordinator from 2018 to 2021.
Mr. Lo is a recent graduate of the SPPS Leadership Institute. His leadership philosophy centers around transforming the lives of students and colleagues by fostering critical thinking, wise decision-making, and skillful work. He envisions achieving this through an equitable learning environment that cultivates curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in all students.
Mr. Lo recognizes the critical role of collaboration between parents, students, and staff in fostering a successful learning community. He wants students to be known, safe, challenged, inspired, and empowered. He strives to be a firm, fair, caring, and compassionate leader who empowers students to develop self-efficacy and achieve success in life.
