What is Get Ready?
Get Ready is a federally-funded college and career readiness program administered through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. The program helps students from low-income backgrounds and communities of color realize their aspirations through education and career advancement. Get Ready operates in middle and high schools across multiple districts in Minnesota. The program focuses on:
- providing college and career readiness services to students, families, and educators
- fostering learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement at partner schools and organizations to increase their college-going culture
- creating sustainable and systemic change within education by ensuring equitable access to critical college and career resources
Get Ready believes that this multi-layered approach maximizes positive student outcomes and supports Minnesota's achievement of the Educational Attainment Goal.
