Battle Creek Middle School competes in the Fond du Lac Ojibwe/Dakota Quiz Bowl May 2-3, 2007.
On
May 2-3 six Ojibwe/Dakota students from BCMS competed in the quiz bowl
at the Fondu du Lac quiz bowl. Our students did quite well for their
first time. They placed 6th in our division.
American
Indian Magnet school and Harding High school also came with us.
Harding placed 5th and AIMS placed 7th. The quiz bowl was long and
rigorous. Our teams worked very hard. All of our final scores were
very close and nerve racking. Some games ended up in overtime. We are
so proud of our teams! We were told by the organizers that this Quiz
bowl is the regional championship. We played against the best teams of
Minnesota!
